This is a picture of my youngest sister. She is very kind-hearted but also strong and a very hard worker. I used the alternative process of solarization to darken her features and give her a somewhat mysterious look. I did this because she is very shy, but once you get to know her she is an absolute ball of energy and happiness.
This image was a sandwich print. I combined a print of an arm and a window with rain on it. I tried to capture the feeling of a dreary rainy day in this image and the feeling of wanting to relax.
In my home there is always a plenty of decorations. In the holiday season especially, our home in very festive. I took this picture to remind myself and others of the joys of the holiday season.
I took this image of my sister while she was laying down and watching the clouds. I tried to make it portray a look of relaxation and peace. It reminds me to always make sure that throughout my busy life, that I still need to take time and enjoy the small things in life.
I chose to take a picture of these sunflowers because they have always seemed liked the happiest flower to me. My Mom likes to keep them around to remind us to have a positive outlook on life.
I liked taking pictures of my sister because she always has so many ideas running through her brain. You can tell this by how creative she is as a writer.
Technology has become something that we all use to communicate with others and get things done faster. We can get information at the touch of a button. I took this picture of my Mom's hands because she is always trying her best to make others happy by communicating with them through technology or face to face.
Each day when I eat breakfast, this is the view that I see. I see this view so many times a day because of the big windows in our house that it has been engraved into my mind.
